The engaging, mesmerizing, beautiful classic.

I need to learn the ways of Kedama.

I remix'ed this to add a small multiple view of the information.

Also loaded to showcase, but well it can take a while to show up.

I wanted to automatically loop through the numbers to create my small multiples and then time lapses of them) but ran in to some strange problems when I put items in a holder that had a scale factor of 0.2. To see the problem simply drag the Small Multiples into a Holder and you will see the problem.

a setting of 70 cleared an unbounded area, but *not* completely .

good fun!

Enjoyed very much playing with this project while thinking about real forest fires and trying to understand how they become such a horrible thing in such a short time. And why they have such an unpredictable behavior.

Tried almost every density number.

At density 99 almost all trees disappear but there are still some left, one on my first run, 3 when I did it again.

I am still far from trying to figure out how you did it but, the hope is there, some day I will look inside this project and try to learn more from it.

The connection to the real world is a bit weak in this one. The best idea to take out would be that the non-linear behavior is made by simple rules.

You can actually set the density to a number bigger than 100 and completely fill the field with trees.
