This project shows some ways to analyze the ball drop experiment.
Very nice analysis of a falling ball with a very important property demonstrated by the colored rectangles. The positions of the ball in the real movie don't line up with the data taken for analysis on the right. It would be nice to state how many frames the ball advances in the movie when you click > so the learner can correlate the real video with the analysis pictures on the right.
This is a great illustration of acceleration. I like the colored blocks as a visual illustration of the ball's movement. Maybe a graphic relationship between frames per second and the distance from the start could also help students correlate this with what they learn in physics classes.
A good example of the use of different ressources, movie player and scripting system. With Etoys all object is scriptable, sometimes with its own set of commands.
An interessant projects involving real and virtual world.
