Reminded by Karl's Spirograph project (http://squeakland.org/showcase/project.jsp?id=7118), I made a rip-off of Danny Hillis' "Phaser" .

Attractive and fun. But when I tried to change "playfields's depth" to 7 and hit 'make sticks' I dropped into a debugger. After a fresh launch of the same project the same problem did not occur. hmmm.

Right. it should not be ticking. The makeSticks should pause everything and call reset before making sticks.

I uploaded a new version. You don't have to manually stop and go them to change the number of sticks/harmonics.

This example definitely shows Etoys can also illustrate graphically university level mathematics.
