This is the first prototype of a Bemba language letter board for the Lubuto Library Project. This will be used on OLPC XO-1 and XO-1.5 laptops in Zambia.

Nice project to teach letter sounds.

One suggestion for the project would be instead of having one image of the letter board and using transparent rectangles around them to detect the mouse clicks and play the sounds, you could have a separate object/graphic for each letter. The advantage is others could then easily remix the project and re-use the letters in programs that teach words.
